STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe that the scriptures of the Hebrew Bible (OT) and the New Testament are divinely inspired, verbally, and completely inerrant in the original writings and of the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and life for both Jews and Gentiles.

There is One God (Echad), who exists eternally in the “Trinity” of God the Father: Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah – the Son of God,  and the Ruach HaKodesh (The Holy Spirit), perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, unbounded in power and measureless in love; that God is the source of all creation and through the immediate exercise of His power all things came into being.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection after three days, His ascension to the right hand of God the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. We believe that Yeshua is the true Messiah and was prophesied in more than 500 scriptures in the Hebrew Bible. Jesus gave His life so both Jew and Gentile can have eternal life through repentance and turning to Him as their Lord and Saviour. He reconciled our relationship with the Heavenly Father through the cross at Calvary. He is the Suffering Servant of Isaiah 53 and when He returns the people of Israel will recognize Him as the one who was pierced so all could be set free. He is the fulfillment of Messianic prophecy:

“And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son:”

Zechariah 12:10

His atoning death on the cross cleanses all who accept Him as their Messiah.

I believe that Hashem has not forgotten the Jewish people and has not divorced Himself from Israel. (Malachi 2:16). His covenant with His people is everlasting and cannot be broken.

“…He and his descendants will have a covenant of a lasting priesthood because he was zealous for the honour of his God and made atonement for the Israelites:”

Numbers 25:13

“I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you:”

Genesis 17:7

As more Jewish believers in Yeshua come to faith, I believe it is a testimony of the Lord’s faithfulness to His people. We can read Romans eleven, which clearly indicates that God has not divorced Himself from the natural branch which we know is Israel and the Jewish people:

Romans 11:7-21

New King James Version (NKJV)

7 … “What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks, but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded. 8 Just as it is written:

“God has given them a spirit of stupor,

Eyes that they should not see

And ears that they should not hear,

To this very day.”[a]

9 And David says:

“Let their table become a snare and a trap,

A stumbling block and a recompense to them.

10 Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see,

And bow down their back always.”[b]

Israel’s Rejection Not Final

11 I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. 12 Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!

13 For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, 14 if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them. 15 For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?

16 For if the first fruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, 18 do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.

19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” 20 Well said. Because of unbelief, they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either”.

As  Jesus had a heart for the poor, needy, and the hurting, as believers in Yeshua (Jesus) it is important to help both Jewish people and Gentiles who are in need in a practical and loving way as the Bible teaches us to do.

Finally, we believe that the regeneration through Ruach HaKodesh(the Holy Spirit) is essential for salvation and the indwelling of the Ruach HaKodesh is necessary to live a Godly life.

Those who receive salvation through Yeshua will live forever with God; those who reject Him will know eternal separation from God as the scriptures describe.
